Released on Vertigo (the label did very little wrong back then), Tiger B. Smith's (what a name!) debut album deserves a spot, or at least an honorable mention, amongst some of the best heaviest music of the early 70s. With some incredible riffage (mainly on "Tiger Rock", "Everything I Need" and "To Hell") and a bass loud enough to fry any speakers, it feels so ahead of its time (and, conversely, pretty dated). The vocals are an acquired taste and their attempt at English lyrics is far from great but it plays into its charm".
