Can was founded in 1968 by Irmin Schmidt, Holger Czukay, Michael Karoli and Jaki Liebezeit who formed a group which would utilize and transcend all boundaries of ethnic, electronic, experimental and modern classical music.Future Days was a deeper exploration into a more ambient direction, creating hazy, expansive soundscapes dominated by percolating rhythms and evocative layers of keys. The album was highly praised for its progressive, calming, complex and beautiful nature. This release was the last album that featured vocalist Damo Suzuki.
